Giammaria Mazzucchelli House Museum

The House Museum, named after the well-known eighteenth century literary figure, can be visited. During the visit one can admire period furnishings and objects in their and original settings and the frescoes by Francesco Savani whose pictorial narratives lead the visitor into the world of the culture of the eighteenth century.

 

Fashion and Costume Museum

The ancient stables house the Fashion and Costume Museum. This collection consisting of about 5000 items dating from between the start of the seventeen hundreds and the birth of haute couture in the nineteen hundreds, is now a cultural point of reference in its field. Clothes
accessories, jewels, children’s clothing and household linen show the development of tastes in modern times, which is also documented by a rich collection of antique prints, postcards and historical photos.
 


Museum of Wine and Corkscrews

In the western hayloft the Museums house the Museum of Wine and Corkscrews which contains one of the widest and most eclectic collections in the world of period corkscrews (over 2,300) of taste vin and the first collection in the world of Wine Stoppers. Among the sections of the museum we mention Vinegrowing, Wine Making and Wine Tasting and Drinking.
 


Pinacoteca Giuseppe Alessandra

The Gallery has 50 works from the private collection of Giuseppe Alessandra, the architect from Treviso. The works in the Gallery date from the thirteenth century and are by some of the most important Renaissance painters from the Lombardy-Veneto area, including Vittore Carpaccio, Dario Varotari, Paris Bordon, Jacopo Tintoretto and Titian, alongside other illustrious masters of international painting from the seventeenth century such as Van Dyck and Zurbaran.
The exhibition has been conceived to highlight the collection’s origins and is divided into four sections: The Giuseppe Alessandra Collection; Sacred painting; The portrait; Technical investigations (this specific section is dedicated to the results of extensive studies and non invasive analysis made on all works in the Gallery, in order to know the conservative state of the works).


 

Carmen Meo Fiorot Art Gallery and Creativity Centre

The setting up of the Art Gallery is at the planning stage and will exhibit works made at the Art Centre for Children and Teenagers created by Carmen Meo since 1943 in various countries in the world. Carmen Meo was a pioneer in Europe in the methodology of training man through free and serene creative expression her Art Centre has been defined “the most fervid Centre of creativity and psychological and social research in Europe” (from the Bulletin of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 212/1970).
