The Rose Festival 6-7-8 june 2008

A series of complementary events will further enrich this exhibition – conferences, workshops, art exhibitions, wine tasting events, perfumes and gastronomic products – with roses taking the centre stage, decorating the rooms, courtyards and gardens of the neo-Palladian villa. These events, for which booking is required, include Rose and pink pepper ice-cream, a workshop hosted by the renowned chef Vittorio Fusari; a workshop on the use of roses in perfume making, hosted by perfume expert Stefania Zuccotti; a meeting entitled The rose garden, the culture and cultivation of roses, hosted by master gardener Carlo Pagani, from Gardenia and wine-tasting supervised by sommelier Nicola Bonera. Refined artworks by Ketty Tagliatti will be exhibited, the artist from Ferrara whose main inspiration has been the rose. Afternoons will feature tea at 5pm with cakes and rose-flavoured teas, and Eros, a cocktail-aperitif with Rosolio Carlotto.
