The exhibition Wine and Art is the first of a series of appointments which the Giacomini Meo Fiorot Foundation intends to dedicate to the subject of wine. The intention is, through thematic studies, to present to the public at large the wide-ranging and multi-faceted world of wine.
The exhibition unwinds through three sections which propose the theme of the vine, of Bacchus and of their iconography displaying materials and objects which suggest diverse interpretations of the readings of the events, uses and customs of the historical periods of which they became the expression.
